Please join us on Saturday, May 30th, 9:30 am, at the Country Buffet. We will hear about Facebook and how to connect with each other.  We will hear about Special Districts and how they affect our taxes and government services.  We also will hear from our Democratic Jeffco officials.  Speakers include:

+ Bruce Daley and Tom Tobiasson from RTD
+ Katherine Loughrey-Stemp, County Coroner
+ Kathy Hartman, County Commissioner

This will be an exceptionally informative session.  You will learn how special districts operate and how RTD will build out the next phases of their light rail projects. We look forward to seeing you there.

Join the South Jeffco Democratic Club for a town hall meeting on Saturday, April 18, 10:00 a.m., at the Country Buffet, 8100 W Crestline Ave. just off S. Wadsworth Blvd. 

RTD board members Tom Tobiassen and Bruce Daly will update us on RTD and FasTracks.  Other speakers are Jefferson County Commissioner Kathy Hartman, County Coroner Katherine Loughrey-Stemp, and Lakehurst Water and Sewer board member Jake Schild.  We will also have a short tutorial on using Facebook for social networking.  Please come with your questions.  The public is welcome.
